Privacy Policy
Thusia, Inc. ("Thusia," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Thusia mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use the Platform.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the Platform.
Account information. Name, email address, phone number, city, state, and password when you register.
Profile and vehicle information. Vehicle details (year, make, model), profile photo, and any other information you choose to add to your profile or garage.
Event and registration information. Events you create or register for, ticket selections, attendee information, and payment details processed through our payment provider.
Location data. When you use navigation or route features, we collect GPS location data. You may grant or revoke this permission through your device settings.
Usage data. Information about how you interact with the Platform, including screens visited, features used, and actions taken.
Device information. Device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.
Communications. Messages, recon notes, hazard reports, and other content you submit through the Platform.

We use the information we collect to:
Create and maintain your account
Enable event discovery, registration, and ticketing
Provide turn-by-turn navigation and route guidance
Display hazard alerts and participant safety information during events
Process payments and send transaction confirmations
Send event-related communications including registration confirmations and updates
Improve and develop the Platform
Respond to your support requests
Comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Event organizers. When you register for an event, the organizer receives your name and registration details necessary to manage the event.
Affinity partners. If you access Thusia through a branded partner organization, that organization may receive information about your membership and registrations within their platform.
Service providers. We work with third-party providers including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Mapbox (mapping and navigation), and Resend (email delivery). These providers access your information only to perform services on our behalf.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Thusia, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If Thusia is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Location Data
Navigation and route features require access to your device location. Location data is used in real time to provide turn-by-turn guidance and, during active events, to support participant tracking features visible to event organizers. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising purposes.
You can disable location access at any time in your device settings. Disabling location will prevent navigation features from functioning.
5. Payment Information
Payment card information is processed directly by Stripe and is not stored on Thusia servers. We retain records of transaction amounts, dates, and ticket types for account history and support purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Choices
Account information. You may update your profile information at any time within the app.
Location. You may enable or disable location access through your device settings.
Communications. You may opt out of non-transactional emails by following the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Account deletion. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at privacy@thusia.app.
10. California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@thusia.app.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
